Another sunny day in on the sounds with a light southwester with plenty of current to make things interesting. It seems that the Maxwell / Field family likes to be consistent with their finishes. Chris had 3 firsts and Wes had 3 seconds; final bragging rights to the Fields!(What a family rivalry!) We are due for some wind next Sunday and it is the last race weekend of buoy racing so lets try to get everyone out. Ram Island race follows on the 26th; make sure you are registered. After hooking a pot under our rudder yesterday, Chris kicked off his flip flops, grabbed the back stay, swung around the transom, put a hand on the tiller and probably one on the deck and proceeded to clear the pot with a foot on each side of the forward end of the rudder. He hopped back in the boat and we finished the race. total time - a few seconds. Henry saw the whole thing.
